Majorca Holidays

Majorca has been a hit with holiday makers for a long time now and its easy to see why - Great beaches, an upbeat, trendy capital and awesome nightlife!

Clocking in as the biggest of the Balearic Islands, Majorca has plenty to offer. You can expect white and golden sands with turquoise waters or if you go further inland, pine forests and jagged mountain peaks.

If a family holiday is on the cards you should check out the following resorts - Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa and Cala Bona. These resorts are a haven for shops, cafes and restaurants. Throw in their relaxed atmospheres and you have a winning combination for a family holiday.

If a couples holiday is more to your liking then the town of Sa Coma should be on your radar as it is popular with the more mature audiences. You can expect a more relaxed atmosphere with plenty of bars and romantic restaurants.

However if nightlife is top priority then you should consider the western side of the island. Palma, Palma Nova and the infamous Magaluf are all hot spots for a good night out. We won't delve any deeper into why Magaluf is famous, but if you've heard the other names its been called, well... you probably already know why!

Average monthly temperatures

During the summer months Majorca can hold it own in terms of great weather, however the temperatures in winter do tend to drop quite a bit, so don't expect it to be super sunny!
